PENTAGRAM
This five-pointed star was used symbolically in many different ways.
Standing on two edges it is considered to be the strongest symbol of white magic and is also said to banish all evil, to protect against supernatural forces and to represent life and health.
No matter whether the two edges point up or down, the paentagram is the symbol of the five senses and the five virtues of knighthood: frankness, fellowship, purity, courtesy and compassion.
